Description

A beautiful leaf from a Paris Book of Hours, printed on vellum by Hardouin, who had his workshop near Notre Dame.

The printed picture was painted in bright colours and shows Jesus on the Cross; to the left we see Mary and John, to the right the Roman officer pointing to Jesus and saying : He was really the Son of God!

Condition : very good, but there are 3 holes in the margin.
