Description

A very beautiful square miniature of the Holy Trinity; the Father with the Son on the cross resting in his lap and the Holy Spirit as a dove on top of the cross.

The painting is very clear and unblemished.

On three sides of the minitiature is a border of acanthus leaves and flowers in bright colours and gold. In the lower border is a wunderful yellow bird tring to fly off.The text begins with a large initial D with a flower painted inside.

It is in French whisch is quite rare, because almost all religious books were written in Latin.

On the verso is another border with acanthus leavers and flowers on a gold back ground
