Description

An American globe made by Atlas School Suply and Co in Chicago. 12 inch ( 30 cm.) diameter terrestrial library globe, made up of twelve coloured lithographed gores with two polar calottes, the equatorial graduated in degrees, the prime meridian running through London,iron/brass meridian ring and hour ring; the wooden horizon ring showing the months and the houses and symbols of the Zodiac, raised on two supports, mounted on a metal column and tripod legs. Condition : there are a few small inperfections but still good. Overall height : 60 cm ( ca 24 inch).
